The Trinity men's basketball team hosted the second day of the Troll Classic, facing a tough team in the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils. Although the Trolls kept the score close, they were unable to push ahead, losing the game 76-79.

During both halves, the Blue Devils were just slightly above the Trolls in scoring. Trinity scored 38 points in both halves while Lawrence Tech recorded 40 and 39 points in each. This gave the Blue Devils the advantage, and ultimately, the win.

Leading the Trolls today was senior Deantre DeYoung, who registered 14 points while also grabbing four rebounds and a steal. Freshman Erik Cohn also register 14 points while also recording two assists.

Two other Trinity players also grabbed double-digit points, including senior Josh Shannon with 13 points, five rebounds and four assists, and redshirt sophomore James Pennington with 12 points, five rebounds and four assists. Junior Josh Decker also grabbed a team-high six rebounds.

The Trolls will be back at home on Wednesday, Nov. 13 as they host Saint Xavier in their first home conference game of the season. The match will begin at 7:30 p.m.
