The Trinity women's basketball team played their last conference game of 2019 as they hosted the Holy Cross College Saints. The Trolls fought to make it a tough match, but were unable to come up with the win, losing 69-73.

In the first two quarters, the Saints outshot the Trolls. But once it got into the second half, Trinity was able to make up eight points, but they still were down by four at the sound of the final buzzer to take another conference loss.

Leading the Trolls was junior Abby Coates, who recorded another double-double, finishing the night with a season-high 20 points and 12 blocks. Fellow junior Jasmine Elliott also helped the Trolls on offense, registering 18 points along with six rebounds and team-highs of five assists and four steals.

The Trolls still have non-conference games before the Christmas break as they head to Indiana for two road games. They will take on Taylor University on Dec. 18 and Indiana Tech on Dec. 20. Games will start at 5 p.m. and 3 p.m. Eastern time, respectively.
