Box Score The Trinity men's basketball team traveled to the No. 8 Olivet Nazarene Tigers today to play a CCAC game. The Trolls had a tough schedule recently, facing NCAA Division I opponents along with tough conference competition, and tonight was no different. Trinity ended up losing to the Tigers 65-83.
The Trolls were able to get close to the Tigers at various moments throughout the game, only being down by four points in the first. But in the second half, Olivet went on a run to secure a lead, and ultimately the win, over Trinity.
Three Trolls were able to record double-digit points tonight, including junior TJ Lacey with a team-high 14, along with junior Josh Decker and redshirt sophomore James Pennington, who each scored 13. Pennington also had a team-high nine rebounds while Lacey led the team with four assists.
Right now, the Trolls will have a week off until they are back in the DeVos Gymnasium as they host the Holy Cross Crusaders on Saturday, Dec. 14. Tipoff will be at 3 p.m.
