The Trinity women's basketball team traveled to the No. 19 Olivet Nazarene Tigers today to play in a conference matchup. Although the Trolls fought hard throughout the game against a nationally-ranked team, they ended up losing 86 to 114. 

In three of the four quarters, the Trolls were outshot by the Tigers. Trinity scored more points in the third, but Olivet had too big of a lead for the Trolls to attempt a comeback.

Leading the way for the Trolls tonight was junior Jasmine Elliott, who recorded a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds while also adding three assists. Four other Trolls also ended up with double-digit points including Anne Peters (16), Abby Coates (12), Laila Rodriguez (11) and Breanna Toppen (10).

Trinity will be back in action again on Saturday, Dec. 14 in the DeVos Gymnasium against the Holy Cross Crusaders. Tipoff will begin at 1 p.m.
