The Trinity men's basketball team had another CCAC contest today as they faced the second-place team in the CCAC, the Holy Cross College Saints. Although the Trolls fought hard against this competitive team, they weren't able to secure the win.

In the first 10 points of the game, the Trolls hung close with the Saints, not letting them get more than four points ahead. From there, the Saints took control of the game, growing their lead over Trinity. Ultimately the Trolls lost 56-73.

Leading the Trolls in this game was redshirt sophomore James Pennington, who recorded 16 points and nine rebounds. Also finishing in the double-digits was junior TJ Lacey, who contributed 14 points and two assists.

The Trolls will be back in action again on Wednesday, Jan. 15 as they head to South Bend, Indiana to take on the Indiana South Bend Titans. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET.
