Box Score The Trinity men's basketball team was on the road as they took on the Indiana South Bend Titans. One Troll was able to contribute greatly for Trinity, but he wasn't able to change the outcome of the game.
In the first half, the Trolls found themselves in a 19-point deficit to the Titans as they headed into the locker room. But once they stepped back onto the court for the second half, they were only able to score 19 points. This ultimately led to a 49-110 loss for Trinity.
Redshirt sophomore James Pennington had a strong night for the Trolls, recording 19 points, three rebounds and an assist. Senior Deantre DeYoung finished second in points for Trinity with eight while also earning a team-high six rebounds. Junior TJ Lacey was also able to record a team-high three assists while also recording six points.
The Trolls will be back in action again on Saturday, Jan. 18 as they travel to the University of St. Francis to battle against the Fighting Saints. The game is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
