The Trinity women's basketball team traveled to Joliet, Ill. to play a CCAC game against the No. 8 University of St. Francis Fighting Saints.

From the start of the game, the Trolls were unable to keep up with St. Francis. By the end of the game, the Fighting Saints doubled the amount of points Trinity, losing the contest 41-86.

Leading the Trolls was junior Jasmine Elliott. The forward put up 16 points on the day while also grabbing seven rebounds, a block, an assist and a steal. Also finishing in double-digits was sophomore Summer Cramer, who had 10 points while shooting 50% from the field.

The Trolls will be back in the DeVos Gymnasium on Wednesday, Jan. 22 as Trinity hosts the St. Ambrose Fighting Bees. The game is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
