Box Score The Trinity women's basketball team finished out the month of January with a game against the Trinity International Trojans. Despite strong performances from two players, the Trolls were unable to grab a conference win.
In the first quarter, Trinity Christian found themselves down by 10. But the Trolls were able to stay even with the Trojans in the second, going into the half with a score of 27-37. From there, Trinity International continued to extend their lead in the third and fourth quarters, ultimately causing the Trolls to lose 51-71.
Sophomore Summer Cramer had a strong night for the Trolls, scoring 19 points and going seven for 11 in the field. Junior Abby Coates also filled the stat sheet, recording 11 rebounds, nine points, three assists and three blocks.
The Trolls will continue with CCAC play again on Saturday, Feb. 1 as they host the Indiana Northwest Redhawks. Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. in the DeVos Gymnasium.
