Brown scores 35 points in loss to Red Hawks

The Trinity men's basketball team was back on the court today as they faced off against the Indiana University Northwest Red Hawks.

During the first half, the two teams went back and forth for the lead. However, by the end of the first 20 minutes, the Trolls grabbed a 48-44 lead over the Red Hawks. In the second half, Indiana Northwest gained momentumto surpass the Trolls on the scoreboard. Trinity was unable to come back after the deficit, losing the contest 95-81.

Leading the way for Trinity was senior Sterling Brown, who recorded a career-high 35 points as he shot 52 percent from the field. Sophomore Erik Cohn and senior TJ Lacey also contributed to the Trolls' offense, registering 16 and 11 points, respectively. Cohn also went 6-8 on field goals for the night. On defense, junior Ngoye Bob-Manuel guided Trinity with 10 rebounds along with two steals and two blocks. Brown and senior Jalyn Clark also added seven rebounds each.

Following this contest, the Trolls are now 1-2 overall. They will be back on the court again Tuesday, Nov. 24 as they travel to the Indiana South Bend Titans. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
