Box Score The Trinity men's basketball team was in the DeVos Gymnasium today as they hosted the Cardinal Stritch Wolves.
The Trolls kept the lead throughout most of the first half until the end, when the Wolves grabbed a one-point lead with a score of 39-40. But in the second half, the Trolls were able to come back, winning the contest 81-75.
Leading Trinity tonight was redshirt sophomore James Pennington. He recorded 32 points along with eight rebounds, two steals, one block and one assist. Senior Josh Shannon also registered 20 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Freshman Vince Overway also contributed 15 points.
All three of these Trolls shot above 50% from the field. Pennington went 13 for 18 on shots while Shannon was seven for 13. Overway also finished the night going five for six on three-point field goals.
Trinity is now 10-15 overall and 6-12 in conference play. The Trolls will be back in action again on Thursday, Feb. 13 as they travel to Judson. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
