Box Score The Trinity men's basketball team played their last road game of the season as they faced the Governors State Jaguars.
In the first half, the Jaguars scored seven more points than the Trolls. This lead was enough to keep Governors State ahead through the rest of the game, causing Trinity to lose the contest 81-89.
Leading the Trolls tonight was junior TJ Lacey, who recorded 24 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. Freshman Erik Cohn also contributed 15 points while junior Josh Decker added 14 points.
The Trolls are now 11-18 overall and 6-15 in conference play. They will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 22 as they host Roosevelt in their final home game of the season. Tipoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. Before the game, the team will honor its four seniors in Deantre DeYoung, Josh Shannon, Chris TenDolle and Emmett Harrison.
