Box Score The Trinity men's basketball team played their final home game of the season as they hosted the Roosevelt University Lakers. Both teams kept the game close, but it was the Lakers who came out with the win.
During the first half of the game, Roosevelt took control early and kept the lead heading into the half with a score of 27-39. But once the second half began, Trinity started to make a comeback. At one point, they were within one of taking the lead. But it wasn't enough to secure the win as the Trolls lost 69-76.
Leading for Trinity was redshirt sophomore James Pennington, who scored 18 points along with five assists and four steals. Freshmen Vince Overway and Erik Cohn both scored 13 points, with Cohn also registering two blocks. Junior TJ Lacey rounded out the double-digit scoring with 10 points.
Before the game, they honored seniors Chris TenDolle, Josh Shannon, Deantre DeYoung and Emmett Harrison.
The Trolls finished their season with an overall record 11-19 and a conference record of 6-16. This was the last game of the Trolls' season.
