PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – The chill in the air seemed to transfer over to the offense of the Trinity Christian College women's basketball team on Wednesday, Jan. 13 when they traveled to Governors State University (Ill.) for a non-conference matchup with the Jaguars. Down 39-23 at the half, the Trolls were able to keep things closer in the second half before falling 80-57.

Gabby Kreykes led the Troll offense with 30 points, tying her season high output. She also pulled in a team-high 15 rounds, eight offensive and seven on the defensive end. Abby Coats added seven points, six boards and three assists.

The Trolls were outshot from the field 44.4 percent to 27.3 percent and 30 percent to 20 percent from behind the arc. The Jaguars also out rebounded the Trolls 49 to 33.

• Gabby Kreykes: Season-high (tie) 30 points (12-of-27, FG; 5-of-7, FT), team-high 15 rebounds, two steals
• Abby Coates: Six rebounds, seven points, team-high three assists, two steals
• Summer Cramer: Five points, two steals, two assists

• Kreykes ranks 19^th in the NAIA in Defensive Rebounds per Game (7.143), 24^th in Points per Game (19.857) and 21^st in Total Rebounds per Game (10.286).
• Kreykes has recorded a double-double in four consecutive games.

The Trolls (3-4, 1-2) return to the DeVos Center for a non-conference matchup with Olivet Nazarene University on Saturday, Jan. 16. The two faced off just 10 days ago, the Tigers came away with a 90-79 win.  Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
