Box Score 2 PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – After being down 8-0 to start the game – and by as many as 12 – the Trinity Christian College men's basketball team slowly and steadily closed in on the visiting Fighting Saints of St. Francis University (Ill.) on Saturday, Jan. 16. The Trolls were able to cut the lead to just two with 1:34 to play in the first half and four at the break. Just two minutes into the second half, Trinity took the lead for the first time, holding it for nearly five minutes, but the Saints took it back and came away with a 68-63 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference win.
James Pennington and Sterling Brown led the Troll offense with 15 points each, while Myles Johnson added 12. Brown also led the Trolls in rebounds (5), steals (5) and assists (4). As a team, Trinity shot 16-of-19 from the free throw line, with Brown, Johnson and Erik Cohn going a perfect 4-of-4.

- James Pennington has recorded double digits offensively in all four games he has appeared in. He currently averages 17.5 points per game.
- Sterling Brown leads the Trolls in rebounds (45), assists (37) and steals (17). He is second on the team in scoring, averaging 15.1 points per game.
The Trolls (3-6, 1-3) travel to St. Ambrose University (Iowa) on Wednesday, Jan. 20. Tip off was originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m., but was changed to 5:30 p.m.
