PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – Despite outshooting the Olivet Nazarene University from the field and the free throw line, the Trinity Christian College women's basketball team couldn't hold on for the upset on Saturday, Jan. 16 when the Tigers brought their fast-paced offense to the DeVos Center. Four Trolls finished the afternoon with double digits offensively, but the Tigers still came away with a 93-79 non-conference victory.

Abby Coates and Gabby Kreykes led Trinity with 23 points each, a season-high for Coates. Kreykes pulled in a team-leading 13 rebounds, including 10 on the defensive end of the court. Summer Cramer added 14 points and Jasmine Glover 10. Glover also led the Trolls with a season-high six assists.

• With 23 points and 13 rebounds, the marks the fifth consecutive game that Gabby Kreykes has recorded a double-double, every game played in 2021. She now averages 20.25 points per game and 10.63 rebounds.
•  As a team, the Trolls are ranked 29^th in the NAIA in Free Throw Pct (.745)
• Kreykes ranks in the top-25 in the NAIA in three statistical categories:

The Trolls (3-5, 1-2) were scheduled to travel to St. Ambrose University (Iowa) on Wednesday, Jan. 20, but the game has been postponed. Trinity will host Cardinal Stritch University (Wis.) on Saturday, Jan. 23. Tip off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
