Box Score PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill – If you are a number person, you would have a hard time looking away from the numbers Gabby Kreykes is putting up for the Trinity Christian College women's basketball team. AS if averaging a double-double on the season weren't impressive enough, Kreykes finished the game on Saturday, Jan. 23 against Cardinal Stritch with 46 points…and of those, 24 were in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, the effort wasn't enough to lift the Trolls to a win over the Wolves, falling 89-74 in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) action.
It was a fairly typical game for Kreykes in the first three quarters, recording seven, eight and seven points, respectively. The fourth quarter was just something special to watch as she went 7-of-11 from the field including 3-of-5 from behind the arc and 7-of-8 from the free three line. On the day, she went to the charity line 18 times, missing just three. She also added 12 rebounds, two assists, three steals…and a block for good measure. One truly astonishing number is in 39 minutes on the court, she only turned the ball over three times.
Abby Coates added seven points and eight rebounds on the day, while Anne Peters came off the bench to add five points. Jasmine Glover led Trinity with four assists.

- Kreykes now ranks 7th in the NAIA in Points per Game (23.111), 17th in Defensive Rebounds per Game (7.44) and 18th in Total Rebounds per Game (10.778).
- TCC ranks 23rd in the NAIA in Free Throw Percentage (.753).
Trinity Christian (3-6, 1-3) returns to action on Wednesday, Jan. 27 on the road at Trinity International University (Ill.). The Trojans are currently 3-8 overall and 0-5 in the CCAC. Tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in Deerfield, Illinois. TIU is not allowing spectators, but the game will be available on a live stream.
