Box Score South Bend, Ind. - After winning just over 48 hours ago, Trinity Christian College women's basketball (11-6, 7-5 CCAC) fell short on Monday night against Holy Cross College (10-8, 5-6 CCAC) by a final of 77-55. The Trolls jumped out to a 14-8 lead in the first eight minutes, but it was Holy Cross going on a 25-7 run into halftime. Trinity Christian was then outscored in the second half, 44-34.
The offense was led by Hannah Schuringa. The freshman scored 19 points and hauled in a career high 13 rebounds. Summer Cramer added 14 points.
The Trolls ended the game with 27 turnovers; their second most in a game this season.
NUMBERS & NOTES:
- Hannah Schuringa has been on a tear in her last four games. She's averaging 16.0 points per game during that stretch. Schuringa also had a career high 13 rebounds. It was her fifth double-digit rebounding game of the season.
- Summer Cramer reached double-figures for the 12th time this season.
- Gabby Kreykes scored seven points and grabbed seven rebounds.
- The Trolls three made three-pointers were tied for the least in a game this season.
