Box Score NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Despite John Cison's game-high 19 points, Trinity struggled on the defensive end as the Trolls fell on the road at Holy Cross, 81-57 on Wednesday night.
Cison went 8-for-14 from the floor and was a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond the arc. Troy Glover posted 15 points, going 7-for-11 with eight rebounds and four blocked shots.
The Trolls (6-10, 2-8 CCAC) held a narrow lead near the mid-point of the first half, as both sides traded the lead seven times in the early portion of the game. Glover put the visitors ahead 16-15 with a jumper at the 12:18 mark, but Holy Cross (9-9, 5-6 CCAC) would hit back-to-back threes as part of a 9-0 run to take the lead for good.
The Trolls return home this weekend, as they host Calumet on Saturday, January 14. Tipoff from DeVos Gymnasium is set for 3:00 p.m.
