Box Score WHITING, Ind. – Sarah Page led Trinity with a career-high 16 points on Saturday afternoon, as the Trolls snapped a six-game slide with a road win over Calumet, 67-39.
Page went 6-for-13 from the floor including four three-pointers in the win. Sofia Radice scored 13 points, while Faith Davis tallied 11 points on six rebounds.
The Trolls (7-11, 4-7 CCAC) would lead wire-to-wire, opening with the game's first 11 points. Trinity's defense held the Wave (0-12, 0-11 CCAC) to single digits in the first and second quarters, to claim a 29-12 lead following Page's buzzer-beater to end the first half.
A 21-point third quarter from the Trolls put the game out of reach, thanks in part to three three-pointers and nine points from Davis in the period.
The Trolls will look to continue to build momentum on Wednesday, when they wrap up a three-game road swing at Cardinal Stritch. Tipoff on January 18 from Milwaukee is set for 5:30 p.m.
