VALPARAISO, Ind. – The Trolls ran to a pair of 7th place finishes on Saturday morning, as Trinity cross country competed at the CCAC Championships, held at Sunset Hill Farm Country Park.

Mateo Arredondo and Catarina Farris led the way for the Trolls, as the team's top finishers. Both runners set PRs, as Arredondo placed 23rd overall with an 8k time of 26:29, and Farris finished 25th with a 6k time of 25:08.

In the men's race, Jesus Portilla ran a personal best, finishing in 30:17. Andriana Veliz ran a 31:43 in the women's race to set a new career low.

The Trolls now prepare for the NCCAA Cross Country Championships, set for Friday, November 10 in Warsaw, Ind.
