Box Score BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Four players finished in double figures for the Trolls, but a slow start in the first half proved too much to overcome as Trinity fell on the road to Olivet Nazarene, 99-67 on Saturday afternoon.
As a team, the Trolls (9-16, 5-14 CCAC) shot 32% (11-34) from the floor in the first half, allowing the Tigers (20-6, 15-3 CCAC) to build up a 22-point lead at halftime. In the second half Trinity would look stronger on the attack but were unable to climb back from the early deficit.
Jayden Bridgeman led Trinity for the fourth time in the last five games, scoring 17 points on the day. Saeer Miller scored 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting to go with five assists. Troy Glover recorded his ninth double-double of the year with 12 points and 10 rebounds. John Cison posted 10 points on the day.
The Trolls will look to bounce back with a two-game homestand to close out the season, beginning with a matchup against Judson on Wednesday, February 15. Tipoff from DeVos is set for 7:30 p.m.
