Box Score

PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. - The Trolls beat Judson 64-62 on Wednesday, February 15th, in a close fought battle inside DeVos Gymnasium.

The first quarter was a back and forth offensive battle with the Trolls (10-17, 7-13 CCAC) being led by Destiny Goodwin having 9 of their 17 first quarter points. The second quarter continued the back and forth battle, and the Trolls going into half were holding onto a 7 point lead led by Goodwin with 20 points at that point in the game.

Early on in the third quarter Goodwin, who had been leading the charge for the Trolls, got into foul trouble and sat the rest of the quarter. This gave Judson (6-21, 5-14 CCAC) the opportunity to cut the lead and they took advantage of it. Judson pushed back and cut the lead to 1 point going into the fourth quarter with a buzzer beating and one.

In the beginning of the fourth quarter, Goodwin came back in and asserted her presence by causing a turnover which lead to points. In the fourth quarter, Sofia Radice and Katarina Savic came up big in the clutch for the Trolls. Savic had 7 straight unanswered points in the final 3 minutes that left the Trolls leading by 1 point with just under a minute remaining. The Trolls held on to the lead and closed out the game. Goodwin finished with 21 points and Radice finished with 20, both their second highest scoring games of the year. The Trolls look to carry this momentum to their next game which is Senior Night this Saturday, February 18th against Iowa Wesleyan at 1pm.
