PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – Trinity goalkeeper Girgos Christodoulou and forward Ivan Perez swept the CCAC Player of the Week honors on Tuesday, as the duo were named the league's Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week respectively.

Christodoulou secured his second shutout in three appearances this season, leading the Trolls to a 2-0 victory over Missouri Baptist on Saturday. The senior made a season-high four saves in the win, earning his third career CCAC Player of the Week award.

Perez had a hand in both goals during Trinity's win over the Spartans, scoring the first goal of the day less than five minutes into the match. Later in the first half the Trolls doubled their lead on a goal assisted by Perez en route to their sixth win of the year. The junior earns his first CCAC Player of the Week honor this season, and the second of his career.

The Trolls are back in action on Wednesday night, when they travel to face Huntington (Ind.). The team returns home to the Schaaf Athletic Complex on Saturday, where they will open CCAC play against St. Francis.
