UNIVERSITY PARK, Ill. – Senior Ricardo Serpa led the Trolls on Thursday, as the Trinity Golf squad opened the season at the Governors State Fall Tuneup Invite at University Park G.C.

Serpa would shoot a 73 (+1) to place 4th overall, in his first career appearance at University Park G.C. As a team, the Trolls would place 4th out of six programs, with a team score of 320 (+32).

Three other Trolls made their collegiate debut at the event, all finishing among the top four on the team. Casey Folkerts would shoot a 77 (+5) in his first event, finishing T-13th, followed by Parker Knight with an 83 (+11), and Tyler Wolterstroff with an 87 (+15).

The Trolls are back in action on Friday, when they compete at the Judson Invite, at Randall Oaks G.C.
