MILWAUKEE, Wisc. -  With a quick start, Trinity took an early lead at Cardinal Stritch on Wednesday night, and despite the home team coming back the Trolls earned their second win in a row, 72-59 over the Wolves.

John Cison led all scorers with 20 points in the win, on 5-of-10 shooting. Troy Glover scored 15 points and pulled down a career-high 19 rebounds, and Michael Wright went 3-for-6 from long range to finish with 16. Brady Loerop finished in double figures, with 11 points, seven rebounds, and a game-high five assists.

Cison, Glover, and Loerop combined to score the first ten points of the game as the Trolls (8-10, 4-8 CCAC) took control early in the first half. Trinity would lead by as much as 13 points, when Dustin Hudak hit a three to make it a 19-6 score at the 12:59 mark, but that would be their largest lead of the game as the Wolves (0-21, 0-13 CCAC) mounted a comeback.

Cardinal Stritch would hit three straight three-pointers to start a 13-2 run and tie the game with 5:21 left in the first half, 26-26. Wright's three-pointer followed by a layup from Loerop quickly put the Trolls back in front, and the visitors would take a seven-point lead into the halftime break.

Glover would open the second half with two dunks in the opening four minutes, and another three from Wright pushed the Trolls' lead to 46-34 with 16:43 left to play. The Wolves would trim the lead down to three midway through the second half, but the Trolls responded with an 11-3 run to put the game out of reach.

Next up for the Trolls as they look to gain ground in the CCAC standings is a matchup with St. Ambrose on Saturday, January 21. Tipoff from DeVos Gymnasium is set for 3:00 p.m.
