Box Score CHICAGO, Ill. – Jayden Bridgeman led a group of six Trolls who finished in double figures, as Trinity earned a non-conference road win on Thursday night, defeating Moody Bible (Ill.) 91-64.
Bridgeman secured his first career double-double in the win, scoring 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting, while pulling down a career-high 11 rebounds. Saeer Miller also recorded his first double-double in a Trinity uniform, posting 11 points and 10 boards.
Troy Glover and John Cison each scored 14 points, while Dustin Hudak and Braxton Barnhizer came off the bench to contribute ten points apiece.
The Trolls (10-15) were dominant from the start, taking a 10-0 lead over the first five minutes of the game. Glover led the way in the first half, scoring a game-high ten points while blocking five shots before the break, guiding the Trolls to a 42-23 lead at the half.
A 13-4 run for the Trolls to start the second half would put the game away for good, despite a better shooting performance from the Archers (0-17) after the break.
The Trolls now prepare for their final road trip of the regular season, when they head to Olivet Nazarene on Saturday, February 11. Tipoff from Bourbonnais is set for 3:00 p.m.
