JOPLIN, Mo. – Trinity Cross Country closed out the 2025 season on Friday, competing at the NCCAA National Cross Country Championships.

The Trolls would finish 5th in the 5-kilometer women's race, while the men's team would place 8th in the 8-kilometer event.

Maite Farin led the way, finishing 11th overall with a 5k time of 20:24.6 for her best finish of the season. Ariadna Juarez placed 16th, crossing the line in 20:36.

In the men's race, Aitor Mateo was the team's top finisher, placing 42nd overall with a time of 28:22.7. Demario Angarita (28:50.4) and Jeremiah Klompien (28:54.9) also finished in the sub-29 bracket, placing 44th and 46th respectively.
