DAVENPORT, Iowa – Six Trolls would earn All-CCAC honors, including one in a record-setting performance, as Trinity competed at the CCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend.
The men's team would earn a 7th-place team finish, collecting 18 points, while the women's squad placed 6th, scoring 36 points throughout the meet.
Freshman jumper Andrew Wicker earned the men's top finish, placing second in the men's high jump. By clearing 6' 2" (1.88m), Wicker broke one of Trinity's oldest track & field records, besting the high jump mark set by Eric Blachford in 2001.
Andrew Ardon was the top point-scorer for the men's team, scoring in three events. The senior placed 8th in the 600 meters with a personal-best time of 1:26.51, then was a member of the men's 4x400m relay team that finished 5th (3:34.46), as well as the 4x800m relay team that placed 4th (8:21.61).
Trinity's women's team saw a pair of All-CCAC performances with two second-place results, in the 4x800m relay, and the women's weight throw. Ariadna Juarez, Maite Farin, Olivia Wrobel, and Jordyn Fleener combined to post a time of 10:20.46. Paige Stefanek also earned all-conference honors with her second-place finish in the weight throw, clearing a personal-best 43' 9.25" (13.34m).
Fleener finished as the team's top scorer, adding a fifth-place finish in the women's mile (5:33.90) to her appearance in the relays.

The Trolls will now prepare for the indoor regular season finale, the Chicagoland Indoor Championships, hosted by North Central (Ill.) beginning on Friday, Feb. 14.
