GREENVILLE, S.C. — Trinity forward David Hernandez was named the NCCAA National Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, following his performance for the Trolls against Grand View (Iowa) and St. Mary-of-the-Woods (Ind.)
Hernandez continued his strong offensive start to the year, scoring a pair of goals and a game winner for Trinity this past week. The junior from Madrid, Spain now has three goals on the year to sit tied for the NCCAA lead in goals. Hernandez scored the game winner while adding an assist to start the week for the Trolls in a 3-1 win against Saint Mary's of the Woods College. He later added the Trolls lone goal in a 1-1 tie with Grand View University. Trinity Christian remains unbeaten in 2025 with a 2-1-2 record.
The Trolls return to the Schaaf Athletic Complex on Saturday, when they host Northwestern Ohio at 2:00 p.m.
