CHICAGO, Ill. – A total of four Trolls were honored by the CCAC on Wednesday, as the 2024 All-CCAC Softball Team was announced. Junior third baseman Alex Hofman along with senior shortstop Charlie Sartoris were named to the All-CCAC First Team, while outfielder Maddy McIntyre and first baseman Jolie Robertson picked up Second Team honors.
Hofman earns her first career All-CCAC Team award, after starting all 49 games for the Trolls and hitting for a .376 average. The Monee, Ill. native ranked 4th in the CCAC with 32 RBI, and was third on the team with 50 base hits on the season.
Sartoris is named to the All-CCAC First Team for the second year in a row, finishing second in the CCAC batting title race with a .447 average. During the 2024 season, the Pontiac, Ill. native set the Trinity single-season record for base hits, with 76, as well as stolen bases, with 36.
McIntyre also earns her first All-CCAC honor, after posting a .342 batting average and a .416 on-base percentage, third-best on the team this season. The Bourbonnais, Ill. native finished with 52 base hits, good for 7th in the CCAC, and was a perfect 9-for-9 on stolen base attempts.
Robertson is another first-time member of the All-CCAC Team, after the senior finished with a .321 batting average. The Springfield, Ill. native was third on the team with seven doubles, and finished with 15 RBI and 13 runs scored for the Trolls.
Trinity closed out the 2024 season with a 23-26 overall record, marking the first time in program history the Trolls have posted back-to-back 20-win seasons.
